Better By Design LLC is a Charleston-based residential design firm specializing in whole-home and room-specific renovations. We do one thing most firms don't: we resolve every design decision on paper — with photo-realistic 3D renderings — before construction ever begins.
Our process runs in four phases: design and 3D visualization, construction budgeting, interior design and material procurement, and project oversight. That structure eliminates the guesswork that drives up costs and creates change orders — giving clients a clear picture of the finished result before committing to construction.
We're also a resource for builders and remodelers — not a competitor. When your prospect doesn't have plans, we take the hardest part off your plate: the sale. We engage the client, develop their design, and build commitment to a specific vision. When it's time to price construction, we bring you back in — often with no competitive bidding.
