Significant Changes to the International Residential Code

On January 1, 2023, all building departments in South Carolina will start enforcing the 2021 IRC code for new residential construction and remodeling. All plans submitted on or after January 1, 2023, will be approved and inspected in accordance with this code.
This 3-hour class will review the significant changes as we move from the 2018 IRC to the 2021 IRC and will cover all chapters of the code. We will also have a general discussion on some topics that have been requested as they relate to ongoing code questions.
You will be required to have the new 2021 IRC book. It is recommended that you purchase the loose-leaf format. You can purchase it online using THIS LINK.
