Sea Island Habitat for Humanity

About Us

We are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. We serve the communities of James, Johns, and Wadmalaw Islands, and have constructed nearly 400 homes in our 40 years of operation.
The home building community can play a vital role in our mission by donating excess materials, like overstock cabinetry, flooring, or fixtures, to our ReStore. These tax-deductible donations keep high-quality goods out of landfills and provide the inventory we need to generate critical funding. By turning your project leftovers into ReStore sales, you directly support our local housing operations and help build a stronger community.
