I’m Mac Schott, a partner with Southern Roofing, a family-owned roofing company serving Charleston and the surrounding Lowcountry. The company was started by my dad in Charlotte, and I grew up in roofing—learning the trade and the importance of doing things the right way from an early age. At the end of 2023, I opened our Charleston branch to bring that same level of craftsmanship and accountability to the Lowcountry.

I work closely with custom home builders to deliver high-quality roofing systems that align with design intent, pass inspection the first time, and keep projects moving on schedule. I focus on clear communication, proactive coordination, and dependable execution from underlayment and flashing details through final installation. My goal is to be a long-term, trusted trade partner who helps builders protect their reputation and deliver exceptional homes.
